I did my first HAI workshop in 1997, a year after I came to Australia (originally I’m from Germany), and for me it just felt like coming home – I connected and related to people in a deep and meaningful way, something that I had been missing here before, and in a way it became the turning point for me to making Australia my home.
My professional lhas been in IT for a long time, since the 1980's (I'm born in 1959). In 2006 I had spell of doing something completely different for a few years: I joined the SPACE committee to help producing / organising the HAI workshops which I did more or less full-time (as a volunteer) until the end of 2009. In 2010 I became an Intern with the Human Awareness Institute.
In 2014 I moved from Sydney to "Denmark" - that's a small, alternative community on the South coast of Western Australia, and I manage my own holiday accommodation here: Rainbow House. I still regularly travel back to Sydney, to be part of the HAI workshops.
